I congratulate the team, it is really interesting to see how a design workshop focused on a complicated current ‘problem’ (the homeless) which we know involves many disciplines beyond ADU, has much to offer. The multiscale, design thinking, problem solving perspectives seem to be working at least as an educational strategy and probably more.
I would like to know if the case and method was clearly transmitted to the international audience… as I know the city, the problem, the cases, it is easier for me to understand it.
That is a great studio project. Students usually work on projects from a more fictional and imaginary point of view. This has a real basis and a very interesting theme, helping both homeless people to have a better life, and students to work under real conditions with a sensitive content.
