Biskopsgården is a Swedish suburb that is isolated from the city by both social and economical borders.
This nature close area contains a young population with a growing social and political awareness.
In the interspace between the lake and the monotonous suburban houses there is an abandoned site, a burnt down garage building.
Our key idea is to create a meeting place on this site for all citizen in Biskopsgården built by local participation.
By involving and collaborating with local actors we developed a programme consisting of: urban farming, café, library and workshop space.
